One would never have imagined a useless transport bus changed into a luxury home. However, this has been seen as a reality in Israel. Two women designers, named Hagit and Tali have done this amazing fleet. As housing crisis persists in Israel, these two women were inspired by looking at some magazines and decided to take the thoughts into process.
An old bus was purchased from a transport company and the process of transformation was started. General layout of the bus was kept and the other parts were discarded. The bus was designed to have all the necessary things required for a home. The preparations were even done for installing the air conditioner and boilers.
Stararting point: an old bus garage and destroyed bought” Dan”, 12 feet long, eight feet wide, part of the front and rear high wheels sticking in.
Diner-style benches cover the wheels, kitchen cabinets were built along the windows and vents merger became lamps.
Kitchen with built two platforms that conceal the wheels and upholstered benches are a basis for American diner style. They were covered with bright orange vinyl and are assigned a table with a black plate and stainless steel feet.
Appearance from the front door. Work surface made of dark oak, which were installed stove and stainless steel sink round. Bus connections to all the infrastructure required for housing.
Became elevated rear bedroom which stage: the last bench upholstered sofa and was attached to a double-bed deposit. ”Bedroom” placed at the back of the bus. Original elevation became the stage, back seat upholstered in black velvet sofa was attached to deposit a spacious double-bed, two feet long and five feet wide. The couch delineated two cases of gray velvet linens and black Formica shelves. Complementary colors decorative pillows scattered on the bed.
Between the front and rear Wardrobe was printed portrait of Audrey Hepburn, and opposite where the bathroom shower, bathroom cabinet and toilet.
